Captain John Parker is Related - He is My (Glen's) 3rd Cousin

Captain John Parker who led the Minutemen at Lexington is a relative of our family after all!  He is a 3rd Cousin of mine (Glen's). You can see the relationship below.  Notice, he doesn't come down through the Parker line, but the Stearns/Hatch line.

Farewell Dinner With Senior Missionaries and President and Sister Mavromatis at Mission Home

President and Sister Mavromatis with Sister and Elder Parker

I have to find some of these lighthouses to add to my collection

We found that we had served with the Ramptons briefly in England. Sister Raampton is seated on the left, and he is walking in the back.  They are now serving here in the office.

Our 1st Zone Meeting and President Mavromatis' Last in Boston.

Our first Zone Meeting and one of the last ones for the mission president and his wife (Fotios and Virginia Mavromatis and his mother from Greece.)  We were fortunate to meet with four of our nine Stake Presidents here at this meeting
(This picture includes President Heaton, President and Sister Taylor, and far-right is President and Sister Christensen.)

President Mavromatis gave a wonderful message of building our lives on a firm foundation.  He is a builder, and he showed a picture of a building tipping over because it had no firm foundation.

Fathers Day Celebration After Attending Four Church Meetings

I love your mother.  She is my very best friend.

Notice the gas sign in the distance at the turn to our apartment.  Note that the price is $2.91 a gallon.  I filled up with gas in Orem at Costco before we left and got the wonderful price of $3.07.  I told Bev that would be the lowest gas we would see for a year.  Clear across America, Provo was about the most we have paid.

I couldn't be happier being a father to our family.  I love all of you so very much and pray for Our Father's greatest blessings to be upon you and your families.

We love this wonderful land of America and appreciate the sacrifice of its founders. They were willing to lay down their lives to obtain the freedom which was necessary to allow the restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ back on earth.
