Forth of July Celebration and a Walk Through Lexington, MA

We felt bad that we were not able to see the Lexington Patriots Day Parade this year.

Our 4th of July weekend celebration with ice cream

We love the New England architecture and fun walks through Lexington

Buckman Tavern - where the Minutemen waited off Lexington green for the red-coats.  Prince Estabrook, a black man, was one of the first Minutemen wounded in the battle.

Our favorite parking spot in front of our apartment.

Mom and I read this thought from President Nelson this past week and it reminded me so much of this wonderful land of America and the forefathers who put everything on the line for freedom.  God has preserved us now to be on earth and to serve His children.  I too know that as we "love God and keep His commandments, great rewards -- even unimaginable achievements -- may be ours."
